that notebook was probably a mead composition book maybe a quarter filled with the starts of my very strange children-in-captivity v.c. andrews-inspired novel, or in other words, not the notebook to lose, at school, during my first couple months in attendance as a fourteen-year-old. i never did find out what happened to it and hadn't thought of it for years. maybe that's for the best. one of my classmates found themselves quite the scandal, lemme tell you.
