I've found myself coming back to this image several times over the last week -- almost by accident. It's where I've paused in scrolling or in a tab I left open or happens to be where my mouse is when someone distracts me from the screen. I'm a terrible person to ask if art "reads" (my Aries/INTP nature makes that an impossible question to answer in some ways haha), but I'm feeling this one. I look at it, and I immediately get hit with this strain of slightly haunted nostalgia for distant-but-particular moments. It has something to do with the tape, the variation in the pattern, the eyes, and a postcard I received at least 15 years ago.
