my enthusiasm for the "i will find a photograph! from each year of my life! and i will post them on the internet! for my 40th birthday!" project collapsed sometime last month, but i did manage to pull up a few old favorites, including this one, from a time in my life when i confused myself with patti smith. which does happen, occasionally. fairly certain it's from the "judy and high school bff get hopped up on goth music and photograph each other with their parent's SLRs" series from 1993. there's at least a kind of continuum involving my pants.
